I'm sure we all have songs that in our bedrooms we dance about to and sing at the top of our voices but switch off whenever a friend walks in. I probably have more guilty pleasure songs than actual songs I like so maybe I'm not actually that guilty about them!

May has seemed to go on forever for me. I'm half way through my exams now and, oh my, it has been tiring. The days have all just seemed to merge into one and I cannot wait until I am all finished and ready to enjoy summer. Anyway, here is what I've been loving this month. It may not be the most interesting favourites post this month, but I have been so busy and I haven't really tried anything new.



I love a good playlist and this is a good playlist. She's Got A Boyfriend Anyway is a playlist that I found on 8tracks and it is filled to the brim with acoustic wonderfulness. It's so relaxing and perfect for studying too or just lying flat on your back and pondering the universe. Love it.

I know, I know. I think this has featured in 3 of my favourites posts now but I really do love it. Words cannot describe my love for the White Company Pillow Spray (£15). It is just amazing. It smells beautiful and helps me sleep like nothing else can. It's exactly what you need after a long day when all you want to do is curl up in bed and have lovely dreams. The bottles very nearly finished and I will definitely be repurchasing!

Bit of an odd one, but I am a stationary fanatic. These pens from Muji (£9.95) have been what has got me through my revision so far. They are just so beautiful! The colours are amazing and they are lovely to write with. I actually haven't minded doing my revision thanks to these bad boys because my notes just look so damn pretty.

My skin has been feeling very sorry for its self recently. A mixture of stress, comfort eating and humid weather. However, I think it is on the mend and I do put that partly down to the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub (£4.95). I love this stuff. It smells really fresh without being over perfumed and even through it is an exfoliator, it's still really gentle. It also doesn't dry my skin out at all or leave it feeling tight. I normally stay away from pink things, but this is great.

So there you have it. Hopefully next month will be a little more interesting.

It's been a long couple of weeks for me and I've got a few more to come. All the days seem to have just merged into one and I honestly think I am losing the will to live. I thought I would come up with a little motivational playlist to help me through my revision and the next few weeks instead of actually doing my revision. Procrastination at its finest hey? But if you too are lacking some motivation at the minute then I hope this is just what you needed to pick yourself back up.

Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Daily Energising Gel Wash (£4.99) has been my face wash of choice this month. I love everything about it from they way it subtly smells of grapefruit to the way it leaves my skin feeling smooth and looking clearer. It tightens my skin without completely drying it out and it really brightens up my skin. It's not a miracle worker, it wont banish every spot, blemish and black head but it is a really nice, easy to use daily face wash.



I still can't get over how much I love the White Company White Lavender Pillow Mist (£15). I wont ramble on about this too much as I did a full review recently, but this stuff really is amazing. It smells beautifully of lavender and if you do struggle with sleeping or are after something to relax you before bed, then check this out. I have been spraying it on my pillow every night religiously since I got it for Christmas.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer (£23.50) has been so well loved this month. This product is great for contouring or adding a quick bit of colour to the cheeks. It looks so natural and is buildable so it is impossible to go over board. Great for me as I am quite heavy handed! This bronzer is great for all year round and I love the fact that it is matte as I cant be dealing with overly glittery cheeks! You can check out my full review of Hoola here.

My Oh My. Words cannot describe my love for the incredibly talented Jake Bugg. I have had his latest album Shangri La on repeat this whole month. It is just fantastic. There aren't many albums that I can sit down and listen to the whole way through, loving every song. But this one is just perfect. If you haven't heard it already then I seriously suggest that you give it a listen. It is so hard to pick but my top tracks off this album are Slumville Sunrise, Messed Up Kids, Me and You, A Song About Love and Simple Pleasures. I NEED to see him live.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Wow can you believe we are into a new year already? 2014 was one hell of a year for me, filled to the brim with ups and downs. Over the year I fell in and out of love with a lot of things so here is what I was loving in 2014. (The bits I can remember anyway!)

L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation (£9.99). This has been my go to base ever since I discovered it. I know that was only in October but I didn't really wear foundation before that and I have used it so much since then so I'm going to let that count! I wont talk too much about this as I have done a full review, but this is the lightest foundation I think you will ever find. It is literally like water and just blends into the skin so you don't even feel like you are wearing anything. It also contains an SPF. Perfect. Although the shade range isn't amazing, I managed to find the perfect shade for me. It is definitely worth a look if you are on the paler side like me.

*Superdry Neon Orange Perfume (£35). I've loved this perfume ever since I got it for Christmas 2013. I wore it on and off for the whole of 2014 and whenever I wore it after a break of not wearing it, I couldn't remember why I had stopped. I did a full review of *Neon Orange and all the other *Superdry Neon fragrances back in August so I wont bang on too much but this perfume is beautiful. It's citrusy but also contains musks which makes it really versatile and easy to wear all year round. A firm favourite of mine and I will be so sad when this runs out.

The Kaiser Chiefs. I have always loved the Kaiser Chiefs. I think they are amazing. They released a new album this year - Education, Education, Education and War (£5) and I have had it on repeat ever since. It really is my favourite album from anybody in a long time. It is very rare that I like every song on an album but this one is just perfect. My favourite songs are The Factory Gates, Misery Company, Ruffians On Parade, and My Life. Seriously, go and give them a listen if you haven't done already.

Skins. I think it is safe to say that I am addicted to Skins. I mentioned Skins back in my September favourites post and since then I have managed to complete series 3 and 4. I've already watched Skins before but this year I decided it was time for me to have another little watch. I've fallen in love with Skins and all the characters all over again and it is a show that I would recommend to everybody. It is so raw and real. You can watch all the episodes of Skins on 4OD.

White Converse All Star Low (£44.99). I think these have been my favourite purchase EVER. They are so easy to wear, comfortable and they go with just about everything. I've worn these with jogging bottoms on quick runs to the shop, with jeans around town and even with dresses to parties. They have become my footwear staple and since buying them my other shoes haven't really had much of a look in. Yes they are white and get dirty easily but you can bung them in the washing machine and they look nearly as good as new. Perfect.

Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black (£12). This stuff is amazing. I actually got this from a magazine but Eyeko was a brand that I really wanted to try out. I spoke about this in my Black Eyeliner On A Budget post and I honestly love it so much. I wont ramble on too much as I have actually given it a full review. All I will say is this: If you think you are bad at eyeliner, then get your hands on this bad boy because it will just make your life so much easier. Two swipes and you're done. Sorted.

Can you believe we're into November already? The year seems to have just flown by. Before you know it, it will be Bonfire Night, Christmas, New Year's Eve and then 2015!

October has been a weird month for me with the highlight definitely being Halloween. For that reason, I haven't really got many favourites this month. However I will probably start rambling and this post will go on forever as usual.

The Playlist:

This month has been filled with quite a few sleepless nights but this playlist has helped me power on through. It's so calming and really helps put me to sleep. Even on those nights when sleep has just not been an option, this playlist is filled to the brim with gorgeous songs and listening to it has been a joy. I'm seriously so happy I found this playlist.

The Hair Product:

When I first got the Schwarzkopf got2b Beach Matt Texturizing Salt Spray (£3) I hated it. It didn't do anything to my hair but make it feel weird and it wouldn't spray out of the bottle properly. It's promise of mermaid look waves was false and I wanted to chuck it straight into the bin. However I'm not a giver-upper. I tried this in every way possible and still nothing seemed to work. However I sprayed it on my wet hair and then didn't have time to dry it before I went to bed. When I got up in the morning my hair was lovely and wavy and full of texture. Now I just spritz some on damp hair before I go to bed and in the morning my hair is instantly better to work with, has a natural texture and requires no effort at all. Love. Just goes to show that you should never give up.

The Beauty Product:

I have loved the Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream (£25.50) ever since I first tried it. This stuff is a miracle in a pot. I use it everyday and this little pot has lasted me for ever. I did a full review of the It's Potent! Eye Cream back in July and I haven't had to repurchase since then. Go out and grab your self a tub.

So on the 14th of October my lovely boyfriend took me to the O2 to see the god that is Ed Sheeran. We had the most amazing night and Ed Sheeran was just fantastic. Honestly, if you ever get the chance to go and see him perform live - GO. He is one of those people that you just have to see live.
