I'm not particularly girly, so I'm really loving the sports chic trend. There's something so feminine about it while still being relaxed and different. I think it is so easy to pull off. I recently found out about Fanatics which I hadn't actually ever heard of seeing as I'm from the UK but I thought I would have a little go at creating a look using one of their hats. I really like the whole American baseball style and think it adds a little edge.
I chose the Boston Red Sox Knit Hat in White because I really like the pattern and I know that it is summer now, but I love the relaxed look of a bobble hat. I also think they are super cute and look great with a messy bedhead. I think that's what this look is all about. Looking chic with minimal effort. I really like these sorts of outfits and I think they are so easy to wear.
I think just by adding a bobble hat, cap or pair of trainers you can really create a nice twist on a classic style. Also, if like me you aren't that girly, it means you can still dress up while feeling comfortable. Fanatics do a great range of different hats in every style you could think of, so I really suggest having a little look on their website if you are trying to create the perfect sports chic look yourself.
What do you think of my take on sports chic?

Summer is right around the corner. It's time to ditch the heavy scarfs and jackets in block colours in aid of flowy summer dresses, cute shorts and an altogether laid back style. I love giving my wardrobe a freshen up for the summer and Pinterest is always my first port of call for some inspiration.

As the weather is getting warmer again here in England it means I've been able to leave behind my big heavy coats and switch to lighter jackets - until it rains at least. I have one go to outfit recently that I am loving so I thought I would share that with you. I just love the simplicity of it and its casual laid back nature while still looking neat.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!Wow can you believe we are into a new year already? 2014 was one hell of a year for me, filled to the brim with ups and downs. Over the year I fell in and out of love with a lot of things so here is what I was loving in 2014. (The bits I can remember anyway!)
L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation (£9.99). This has been my go to base ever since I discovered it. I know that was only in October but I didn't really wear foundation before that and I have used it so much since then so I'm going to let that count! I wont talk too much about this as I have done a full review, but this is the lightest foundation I think you will ever find. It is literally like water and just blends into the skin so you don't even feel like you are wearing anything. It also contains an SPF. Perfect. Although the shade range isn't amazing, I managed to find the perfect shade for me. It is definitely worth a look if you are on the paler side like me.
*Superdry Neon Orange Perfume (£35). I've loved this perfume ever since I got it for Christmas 2013. I wore it on and off for the whole of 2014 and whenever I wore it after a break of not wearing it, I couldn't remember why I had stopped. I did a full review of *Neon Orange and all the other *Superdry Neon fragrances back in August so I wont bang on too much but this perfume is beautiful. It's citrusy but also contains musks which makes it really versatile and easy to wear all year round. A firm favourite of mine and I will be so sad when this runs out.

White Converse All Star Low (£44.99). I think these have been my favourite purchase EVER. They are so easy to wear, comfortable and they go with just about everything. I've worn these with jogging bottoms on quick runs to the shop, with jeans around town and even with dresses to parties. They have become my footwear staple and since buying them my other shoes haven't really had much of a look in. Yes they are white and get dirty easily but you can bung them in the washing machine and they look nearly as good as new. Perfect.
Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black (£12). This stuff is amazing. I actually got this from a magazine but Eyeko was a brand that I really wanted to try out. I spoke about this in my Black Eyeliner On A Budget post and I honestly love it so much. I wont ramble on too much as I have actually given it a full review. All I will say is this: If you think you are bad at eyeliner, then get your hands on this bad boy because it will just make your life so much easier. Two swipes and you're done. Sorted.
So that's what I was loving in 2014. What were your favourite things in 2014?

Christmas Jumper Day - Top 10 Christmas Jumpers For The Festive Season
Friday, December 12, 2014
Save The Children is now on it's third year of doing Christmas Jumper Day. Save the Children are encouraging everybody to wear a Christmas Jumper today and donate a mere £2 for adults and £1 for schools and children. The money you donate will be going towards a fantastic cause. Just £2 could pay for life saving antibiotics to treat three babies with infections and the more money raise, then the more children then can reach. Plus this year the government is going to double all the money raised.

I just haven't been able to stop shopping recently. I don't know what's come over me. I'm going to do a little 2 part series focusing on what I got because it is just way too much to deal with in one post. Anyway today's post will focus on the fashion items that I got and coming up will be beauty products. So here is what I got.
It's been 25 years since the birth of Heathers and with the musical only coming off Broadway a couple of days ago, I think this weeks Throwback Thursday should be a fashion tribute to Heathers.
Heathers is an 80's cult classic starring Winona Ryder as regular girl, Veronica Sawyer, who tries to survive school by sticking to and doing favours for the three most popular girls at school - the Heathers. However when Veronica meets, the mysterious and dangerous J.D. her life spirals into a continuous circle of hate, unintentional murder and indifference, as she takes revenge on her enemies, also known as her best friends.
Each character has their different colour to wear, with Heather Chandler, the leader wearing red to represent her power. Then there is the bookish, bulimic Heather in green who is extremely jealous of Heather Chandler, and finally Heather McNamara. Arguably the nicest of the 3, she wears yellow. I read somewhere that, that's to show her cowardliness for not standing up to Heather Chandler. Heather McNamara was always my favourite. Veroncia begins by wearing blue, to fit in with the crowd of heathers but as the film goes on and she mixes with J.D who wears only black, she begins to wear black too. Showing she really doesn't fit in with the heathers.
So pick your colour, get your 80's on and dress up in tribute to Heathers.
Who was your favourite character from Heathers?
